In the heart of the city, a friendly venue for your meeting

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are currently closed to the public until further notice.

However, the office is still staffed, and our resident managers are happy to help you plan a meeting or event here in future. Please contact us by phone or email to discuss your requirements. We can provide photos of our rooms and facilities, or even give you a video tour, and we welcome provisional bookings until future plans become clearer.

Located centrally in Edinburgh's old town, Edinburgh Quaker Meeting House in Victoria Terrace is a listed building with meeting rooms which can accommodate up to 80 participants. The building is staffed and available throughout the year apart from in August, when it becomes Fringe Venue 40.

The building is fully accessible with a ramp at the front door, a lift to all floors and accessible toilets. Induction loop facilities are available in the main rooms.

We are well-equipped with audio-visual equipment and there is free encrypted Wi-Fi.

We can offer a wide range of fairtrade teas and fresh filter coffee and there is an in-house catering service for buffet-style lunches.

Monday-Friday daytime rates are per day or half day. Hourly rates are available in evenings and Saturdays. Our standard rates are available to registered charities and grassroots groups. To make an enquiry about availability, please either:
